Curd is the major ingredient for Raita.
Curd is more easily digestible than milk and has all the nutrients in it.
The body absorbs twice as much calcium from curd than milk.
Include atleast 1 cup of curd in ur daily diet.
Raitas are the combination of curd and vegetables or fruits.
Herbal Raita:
Curd - 1 cup
Mixed herbs - 2 cups(Basil, Parsley, Mint, Coriander leaves grated)
Salt - a pinch
Lightly beat the curd 2 a smooth consistency in a bowl.
Add d grated mixed herbs, mix well..
Makes 2 servings.
